geboortekaartje

Deze week een geboortekaartje gemaakt, als je t open klapt wordt het een doosje. Het idee komt uit het boekje "kadoosjes" van Paper and Pictures. Magnolia stempeltje gebruikt, ingekleurd met Derwents. Op de roezelrandjes glitteraccenten aangebracht. Linksboven knoopjes opgeplakt: 2 grote (beide ouders) en 3 kleine (ze hebben al 3 kinderen). Rechtsonder de naam van de baby met het vierde hartje. Lintje om de wikkel en bovenaan nog een embellishment met de eerste letter van de naam.

This week I made a birthcard, it's a little box when popped open. The idea comes from the book "Kadoosjes" from Paper and Pictures. I used a Magnolia-stamp, coloured in with Derwents. Used some glitter on the borders. I glued two bigger buttons in the top-left corner (the parents), then 3 smaller buttons below (represent the 3 children they already have). Bottom-right the name of the baby (typical Dutch name) with the fourth heart. Ribbon around the wrapper and an embellishment (first letter of the name) in the top-right corner.
